Sand Sculptures
On Monday evening we went to the beach for the first time. The sea wasv quite cold when we first went in but we soon got used to it. However we were only allowed to go up to our knees but several waves soaked me up to my waiste. After a little paddle we made some sand sculptures. the picture above is the one I made. It is a seagull. I put stones on the wings to look like feathers and seaweed on the tail to add more detail. It didn't take long to make but was really fun.

Osbourne house trip by kate
This morning, we travelled to Osbourne House, where we found out many facts about the house and more. At the start, we headed to the Swiss Cottage that belonged to Queen Victoria's children's house where they learnt how to cook and plant vegetables and flowers.
At the house we saw many paintings and rooms, that the family stayed in for their holiday.
That was the trip that we went on today.

Us trying very very hard to get our wetsuits on, but not quite managing!
Today, we went down to the beach and completed the watersports challenge. Just trying to haul our wetsuits on was quite an adventure (!) but going in the water was brilliant fun. We capsized in kayaks and desparately tried to paddle our surfboards round the instructor with saltwater in our mouths and wet feet in our faces ( there were two on a board!) Anyhow, we had great fun and we all will never forget the experience. Lots of love, MaisieXx
